Time to Get Involved

We're so thankful to have so many supporters from across the state who are ready to get to work on behalf of Iowa crime victims. We hear often, "let me know when I can help."

Well today is the day.

We have a few fun things in the works, and we'd love for you to be a part of them.

First of all, we know legislators want to hear from Iowans and we are going to spend the summer making sure that they do.

Here's where you come in.

Would you help us collect postcards to send to legislators, filling up their mailboxes this summer? This is an easy task, and ANYONE can get involved.

Here's how it works:

1-Shoot us a note with your mailing address (ebaker@marsyslaw.us

2-We'll send you a batch of blank postcards + instructions

3-Ask your friends or neighbors to sign

4-Mail them back to us

...And we'll take care of the rest

No matter where you live or how busy you are, this is a simple task that will make a huge impact for victims across the state.

Secondly, the Iowa State Fair is back this year, after a COVID hiatus last summer. And the Marsy's Law for Iowa crew could not be more excited.

Our team and coalition spends one day during the fair, meeting with Iowans, talking about victims' rights, gaining new supporters, eating all the things on a stick and having fun! We'd love to have you join us on Thursday, August 19th. You can sign up for a shift, grab a free ticket and t-shirt and spend the rest of your day taking in the sights and sounds of the fair.

Or spend the whole day with us - we'd love to have you involved, in whatever way you can help.

If you'd like to sign up for a shift, you may do so here.

We look forward to working with you to advance crime victim rights in Iowa.
